Description: Battlefield 1942 - Battle for Crete Custom

This is a map where the Germans are trying to capture the island of Crete. Start as a German paratrooper or a Brit who is finding himself down on his luck and about to be overrun! Cool map!


The Invasion: CRETE! map has the luckless Brits defending the Greek island from the elite German paratroopers. The Germans start with a paradrop spawn point and two small islands on the north part of the map. The British control Crete, which comprises the bottom half of the map board. The British have the only accessible tank on the board. Although, there are more tanks being held in a warehouse by the dock (American equipment sent to help the Brits!). These tanks will take some ingenuity to access though.

It is up to the British to defend the island. APCs should prove to be a useful tool on this map.


Invasion: CRETE! will challenge players to work together in an effort to take or defend the island. Be sure to look out for the basement hideout and some other cool locations.
