Description: Battlefield 1942 - Marshall Islands

This is a new Pacific Map. The Americans need to conquer the Marshall Islands if they want to end the war. Cool map!


The Marshall Islands map pits the Japanese against the Americans. The Americans start with a naval taskforce composed of an aircraft carrier and a destroyer. Their goal is to capture the Marshall Islands from the Japanese. This will not be an easy task.

The Japanese have three main islands.
- The north island includes a base on top of a small mountain (be watchful for hidden or camouflaged bunkers!).
- The Japanese have converted another island into an airstrip. When captured, the Americans get an Australian air unit, with an American B-17 to try and crack the last island.
- The last island, in the south, houses a submarine pen.

This is a challenging map for both sides and should provide a good fluid game.
