The PDS project is a non-profit effort in redefining the presentation of virtual battle management simulation in commercial real time strategy games.
This is done by basing individual unit performance on their real world counterparts and our psychology to create an authentic, lifelike wargaming experience. Be it the two games we have altered to suit our preferences are set in the genre of science fiction, but in building our repository of sci-fi technologies by extrapolating present-day future warfighting concepts and basing the whole mess on histortical and present-day lessons in warfighting, we don't nerf those universes!
Presently, Homeworld 2: Point Defense Systems represents our ongoing efforts in bringing RTS gaming to a closer relationship with our Earthly format of warfighting in general.
"Realism" in complexity is not the agenda of our projects, but rather the "basic feel" of military command is targeted for translation into gaming format. Links to off-site discussion forums are located below.
