A streamlined multiplayer version of the popular War of Infamy mod for Ghost Recon. Version 2 fixes a few small bugs and adds a launcher application.

We created this version to remove engine stretching features and streamline the content in order to reduce or remove any instabilities that clans have experienced during team play. We appreciate our
fans, and felt you deserved a multiplay version of this mod that was free of potential problems.

How to install:
- Install this mod into your \Ghost Recon folder. The installer will read your registry and if the entry is there it will automatically select the correct path.

How to play:
- There is a launcher application with this version of WOI. You can use it, or simply launch Ghost Recon, click the Options, click the Mods tab and pick the War of Infamy MP Edt from the list. If you want to play WOI MP with Desert Siege or Island Thunder, be sure to activate those mods BEFORE War of Infamy MP Edit.
Server Ops:
- To maximize compatibility between server and client we've created mini-mods for use with War of
Infamy MP Edt. You will see mods in the list designating WOI and a OF (opposing force)
set. After DS/IT (if desired) and WOI MP is activated, simply activate which OF set you
would prefer to have. The German SS OF Set is built into the main WOI MP Edt mod and
requires no extra activation of a mini-mod.
Once the server is activated, you must select a WOI restriction file. There are 3 restriction sets, 1 for the ETO theater, 1 for the Eastern Front theater, and 1 for the PTO theater. There are also 5 Co-op
restriction files, for the US, UK, USSR, Japan, and GER.
To Note: Because WOI MP includes compatible updates from the upcoming v2.4 which will release with the
Afrika Korps mod, WOI Iron Sights 2.0 has been updated to 2.5 as well, using these updates.
This new IS version is fully compatible with WOI MP.

Known Issues
- WOI MP Edition uses the DXT-1 texture compression in its texture files. Because of this, if you experience
a slowdown in graphics loading between characters in the character selection option or increased
load time on mission start, go into your Options->Graphics tab and turn off Compress Textures.
This option is causing your machine to compress textures on load which in WOI are already
compressed causing more system resources to be used and thus more lag.
