This is a CTF map for

Unreal Tournament 2003

where rumors have been circulating for years now as to the fate of this desolate space-station's crew. This data-mining station was placed deep into a little known section of the cosmos, a section many believed to be cursed.

At first all was well, but slowly, communications with this outpost became more sporadic, until suddenly they ceased. A battleship was sent to investigate, and upon arrival they found that the station's crew had completly vanished. Stranger still, the rations and life-support of the station were completely full, as if it never had a crew to begin with.

Extended Description

----------------------

Rumors have been circulating for years now as to the fate of this desolate space-station's crew.

Author's Notes

---------------------

-This map is my submission for the Make Something Unreal Contest, Phase 2.

-This is my first map for UT2k3. I would have done one sooner, but my old computer could barely open the editor.

-I've tried hard to optimize this level as best as possible, but it still shows some slowdown in the large center area.

-There is a secret in here that makes life for flag carriers just a little bit easier.

-lots of the hallway and ceiling meshes are hidden under "normal detail mode"

New for this Version:

-fixed my antiportals. They actually work now!

-added subtle light onto elevator meshes in the base.

-set a few more meshes to be hidden under Normal

-changed a few textures
