Description: Battle of Dong Ap Bia
Conquer the hill or defend it all costs. Drop off the US troops near the treelines or set up an ambush as NVA soldiers. Hide in the bunkers and trenches behind the treelines. So you've downloaded my first map called Battle of Dong Ap Bia. I hope you will enjoy it!!
Please follow instructions to install it properly:
- Unzip the file Battle_of_Dong_Ap_Bia.rfa into the following directory:
The map is based on Hamburger Hill, but since there allready is a map named that way, I thought Battle of Dong Ap Bia would be nice to avoid confusion.
The NVA starts with 5 flags (all capturable) and a mobile spawn on the Hill. The US starts with 1 home base (capturable, but that takes very very long) and
a capturable controlpoint in the middle of some ricefields in front of the treelines. The treelines are well bunkered and trenched so I think that will promise
some good battles with players spawning at the ricefields :)
Many thanks to all the guys from http://gathering.tweakers.net who supported me in creating this map.
Special thanks to Stronkie (loads of ideas), Ruudonline (loadscreen) and Cajunwolf (for his marvelous tutorial in rendering shadows and lightmaps)!!
Happy Fraggin' and have fun!!
