Description:
Package Intaller contains 4 Modification Add-Ons for Max Payne 2 - The Fall of Max Payne.

Package includes the following Mods:
1. Deep Blue 3
2. Pipboy 2.0
3. RicoMod v2.0
Added Mod Update
4. Matrix Edition v1.1

Installation instructions:
**If you have the original version 2.0 installed, uninstall it first before applying this update. All your save games and settings will remain the same.**

This installer will place the following mods into the default directory of Max Payne 2.
"C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2"

Uninstalling instructions:
Open your Windows Contol Panel, choose the Add or Remove section and locate "KMG-MaxPayne2.Mods-v2.01 Update", click on the "Remove" option.

First and foremost, KMG (Krucial MindGames Entertainment), did not in any form make any alterations, manipulate, change the configurations or settings to any of the Mods listed above nor do we take any credit for making them. We do not make any Mods found within this installer nor did we contribute any ideas or suggestions to the Authors for their work on the mods. We believe that the mod community is doing us a great favor by publishing their work online for all of us to download and enjoy. What we offer others is to make the same Mods available for downloading (given their version and release date), that are found online with the only exception of giving you more than just one mod. Fight against corrupt Agents and NYPD Cops.

- new Desert Eagle Skin (by Slaughter)
- slower Shootdodge
- Beretta Shoot Animation fixed (slit moves at shooting)

- BlackOps Enemys are back

Changes in Pipboy 2.0:

-BT effects tweaked further
-Minor adjustments in shootdodges.
-Finally managed to add multiple different death cameras, so now game provides little more variety.
-Added two music tracks, removed one.
-Between every two tracks there are now "silent" track for peaople that don`t share my music taste.
-Grenade made more low-end machine friendly (tested it on three weaker PC-s ... results far better than in Pipboy-approved)
-Grenade made also little more dangerous.
-Messed around with menu screens.
-Stabilised BT in and out blend, so speeding up deffect should be gone now.

Now I let myself go with a lazy flow and stay waiting for the bones.

Changes:

- ADDED IN GUN-KATA MOVE: After you pick up dual ingrams you gain the ability to use 'Gun-Kata'
a special move which allows Max to use his dual ingrams to spray at opposite sides to cause the ultimate
in action mayhem!
- Altered the kick trajectory to make objects fly further and higher
- Punch enemies and then kick them for that extra helping of arse-whooping!
- Added Bullet time music and tweaked bullet time values (may rip this out for public release)
- Tweaked the reload animations for most akimbo weapons
- Punch damage animations tweaked for a more explosive bloodspray
- New particle emitter creates streams of blood instead of a puff when punching someone
- Grenade death animations tweaked for a more attractive death
- Grenades can now kill people if they hit them directly, they bounce off then explode.
- Kick now works when holding 2 handed weapons (shotguns, rifles)
- Fixed grenades duplicating themselves after touching the ground.
- Fixed strange grenade animations
- Gun-Kata uses ingram ammo.
- To get gun-kata you must first pick up the dual ingrams, then it becomes an option.
- Added punch as a primary weapon
- New Hud images for new weapons and attacks.
- Fixed some of the new melee weapon animations. Max doesn't look retarded quite as often as he used to when he kicks.
- Added new Bullet time cameras:
Use gun-kata when in deep bullet time to get a view from above!
Use the Punch attack in deep bullet time to see the look on the guy's face right after you popped him one!
- Added "prime" function to gun-kata: Hold down you secondary attack button to ready up your dual ingrams then
Walk into a room full of baddies to unleash your fury.
- Tweaked kick damage to reduce the chance of setting off gas canisters when kicked (still working on improving it)
- Removed player control while max performs melee attacks (this was done to remove animation glitches)
- Bullet time music: Prodigy - Smack my bitch up.
- Fixed bug where grenades would sometimes leave bloodstains after exploding.
- Fixed bug where kick would sometimes do no damage.
- Fixed bug where a grenade would be seen while punching.

This mod is my first attempt, it was originally just my way of learning the mechanics of MP2 modding but after a while it evolved into a decent mod, so I decided to release it, enjoy :).

INSTALLATION:

Copy the '.mp2m' file into the same directory as the Max Payne 2 exe file. Start Max Payne 2 and select 'Matrix Edition v1.1' from the 'Choose customized game' pull-down menu.

MODIFICATIONS (woot!)

New Levels:
#- The Chateau, dead man walking map (by the Hunted).
#- The two bonus dead man walking levels from Remedy. (Mona's Playground and the Upper-East Side.)

Bullettime:
#- Slower bullettime.
#- Unlimited bullettime!
#- Bullettime Timer glows greener with increasing kills instead of yellow.

Weapons:
#- Increased the power of all the weapons by 50%.
#- Increased the penetrability of all the weapons.
#- Changed some of the weapons and ammo pickup strings, I'll get round to changing the weapon select strings some time in the future.

Music/Sound:
#- Changed bullettime music to Burly Brawl off the Matrix Reloaded album.
#- Changed the music on the main menu to Reload by Rage against the Machine, also off the Matrix Reloaded album.

Particle Effects:
#- Added a wave effect to all weapon's bullets except the shotguns.

Misc:
#- Added a motion blur when in bullettime.
#- Screen flashes green when neckin' a painkiller.
#- Added new backgrounds and a new loading bar to the menu.
#- Stopped the movie playing on startup and in the menu after no activity.

Future Modification Plans:

In the future I hope to:

#- Improve the bullet wave effect and make it visible only in bullettime.
#- Get better at modding!
#- Look out for the Captain Baseball-Bat Boy mod coming soon to a Max Payne 2 game near you!
