This is a conquest map with six capturable control points. Y.F.C. is a military reservation located in south central WA. State. It’s weather & terrain make for a perfect desert training area.

Fixed a few floating objects
Darkend detail.dds to improve surface textures & to darken roads a bit.
Made map loading bar more acurate(still approx 20sec off)
Moved artillary & rocket trucks from main bases to Saddle Mountain to lower lag at main bases.
Removed runways as objects & painted them instead. This helped frame rates as well as fixing clipping issue.
DPV no longer has issues with crossing rumways at low speeds.
Added helo pads & fuel trucks to F.A.R.P.'s so helos may now be re-armed & repaired.
!!Note: Each team has thier own farp which is marked on the ingame map.!!
Removed 1 technical from Yakima to help framerate.
Increased ticket bleed start to 5 of 6 instead of 4 of 6 control points.
Decreased survival time & distance for vehicle self destruct after use.
Increased AH-64 spawn from 1 to 2 at a time.

Y.F.C. is a military reservation located in south central WA. State.
It’s weather & terrain make for a perfect desert training area. Still used today it serves as a unique chance for military personnel from Yakima itself, FT. Lewis & McChord AFB (just a few hours drive)
to sample desert life & train with a variety of live ordinance in large open ranges.

This is a Conquest map with 6 captureable control points. They are:
Yakima-South Western area of map
Hanson Creek-Very near center of map
Firewater Canyon-South Eastern area of map
Badger Gap-North West area of map
Saddle Mountain-North Central area of map
Sentinel Bluffs-North Eastern area of map
Note: North is up on your spawn map.
All control point names are acurate to real map locations through out the Yakima area.
You must capture 5 of the 6 control points to begin ticket bleed.
There are numerous health & ammo boxes mostly located inside buildings as well as the “kits” from DC.7
which include M82 sniper rifle, Smaw, Stinger & Spec-ops weapons. Badger Gap has a good variety of these kits.
Most small stand-alone bunkers on hills house ammo boxes acting as F.A.R.P.’s. (fwd arming & refueling points)for helos,
however hangars repair aircraft, as usual.
Tank playground! Located in the valley just to the north of the Coalition base. A series of depressions & rises
make this fun for tank battles and or stunt driving.
Map creation:
While stationed at Ft. Lewis with the 9th Cavalry we did allot of enjoyable flying at Y.F.C. so I figured it would make a good map.
This map was started with BC v1.1 & DC.38. then finished with BCv2.0 & DC.7
The terrain was fashioned from actual topographical maps & memory however due to scale & playability changes had to be made.
