Netstorm: Islands at War was first published in September 1997, and since then it's community of online gamers has held strong even after Activision shut down the server and abandoned the game.

The story is this: You are a priest who owns a floating island in the skies of Nimbus which you use to wage war against other priests. Battle against others by bridging towards their islands and attacking with a powerful array of weaponry to conquer their islands, sacrifice their priest to the furies and gain new technology.

This is strategy at it's finest, each unit has it's own strengths and weaknesses, learn all of your technology and master the strategies to become the ultimate high priest and rule the skies of Nimbus.
