This map is an assault map placing the Allies at a makeshift HQ in the woods outside town. They must move forward and take the town and eventually cross the bridge and take the German base to win.


Operation Widgeon was a sub-mission of the larger Operation Plunder along with Operation Varsity. All of these missions took place on March 23rd and 24th 1945, with the goal being to get the allied forces across the Rhine River into the heart of Germany. Operation Widgeon was the British 1st Commando Brigade's attempt to secure the town of Wesel. This map is an assault map placing the Allies at a makeshift HQ in the woods outside town. They must move forward and take the town and eventually cross the bridge and take the German base to win.
