Heat of Battle is a Capture and Hold gameplay modification for Call of Duty. It's incorporation of realism elements with objective oriented gameplay makes it a truly unqiue and immersive multiplayer experience.

v.2 incorporates a solid and compelling implementation of the Capture and Hold (also seen in Day of Defeat and BF1942) gametype that the Call of Duty community has been requesting for some time. Also, implemented are new player skins and new weapon skins as well as two custom maps designed just for Heat of Battle. Plenty more features are included and more features than we can list here are coming soon!

grenade shock, close hit knocks you down, closer hit knocks you down and makes your ears ring/shock, almost deadly knocks you down, ears ring knocks weapon out of your hands.

Grenades can be picked up and layed on.

Grenades can be thrown through glass/injure player on thrown impact.

Identification yells ("Thunder - Crash" & German equivalent) Only audible and proximity restricted.
