This is a one level demo of the up coming user-made map pack for Max Payne. The Lost Levels is a continuation of the Max Payne saga which fills in some of the gaps left behind in the original story. This is a version compressed w/ WinZip as requested.This is a one level demo of the up coming user-made map pack for Max Payne. The Lost Levels is a continuation of the max payne saga which fills in some of the gaps left behind in the original story.
This demo features a large level called "The Kinex Corporation" that is known as a cheap Valkyr production site. Max has to infiltrate the facility, stop the overflow of the production waste from flowing into a suburban area, and escape alive.

MAX PAYNE: THE LOST LEVELS (DEMO)

This demo is packaged in .mpm format and contains one completed level. The story begins where Max Payne left off, however the story jumps quickly to a particular mission within the lost levels (The Kinex Corporation). This jump may seem sudden but is necessary for the purpose of demo completion. A more in depth exposition can be expected for the full release.

(3) Known Issues
*Some ATI cards might experience short lockups when loading (however be patient and the level will begin). This appears to
be an issue with the catalyst 3.6 through 3.8 drivers. Who knows if they'll ever fix it!
*Graphic Novel Pages are not timed correctly so it is strongly suggested that during the first panel you press the stop
button and proceed through manually. There are no new voice overs so you will not miss anything by doing this.
*Gate at the end of the level has no dynamic collisions turned on for some reason.
*Some nvidia graphics cards users may have to adjust the gamma in the options menu as the level may appear too dark. The level itself is intentionally dreary, however it is not the intent to make you feel blind... make sure to adjust your gamma/brightness accordingly.
