Synopsis: This Halo2 real-time demonstration was originally shown at the 2003 Electronics Entertainment Exposition in Los Angeles in May of this year. While this version has been MPEG-2 compressed for DVD presentation, every frame of the original demo was rendered in real-time on a standard, retail, XBOX gaming console. Halo 2 is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed XBOX game, Halo 1, and will ship in the first half of 2004.

In the demonstration the hero from Halo 1, the Master Chief, attempts to re-take the city of New Mombasa from a group of alien invaders known as the Covenant. Linking-up with small groups of Marines, the Master Chief brings an arsenal of different weapons to bear on his foes, but, ultimately, it's the Chief's brains and iron-nerves that tip the battle in favor of the humans.
