You are about to step into the shoes of Detective James Williams. He's a Blade Runner in the city of Los Angeles in the year 2047. After ten years on the force and seeing all the ugly sides of human nature, he has become disillusioned with his profession, a man who has lost his hope and faith in humanity. He's in the Badlands, a place most cops enter into at one time or another if they last long enough on the job. But he's about to be pulled into something that will change his life and his perceptions forever. A Replicant like no other before it has come to the City of the Angels and Williams finds himself on a collision course with a nightmare he never expected to see. Along with his partner, Williams will face the purest form of evil in human nature...

Morality plays. Perceptions. Decisions. Right and Wrong. Good and Evil. The story will be center around these issues as you guide Detective Williams in his hunt for the ultimate in Replicant technology, and the true meaning of evil and human nature.

And thus was Evolution born. Blade Runner : Evolution is a Total Conversion / Mod / Add-On for the game Max Payne. Evolution is set in the Blade Runner world / universe. What you now have before you is the builder kit (the SDK) that will allow you to build your own adventures in this Blade Runner-esque setting. It contains pretty much everything that I've been working on. I didn't include all my LVL files, only the ones that were complete or very near to completion. But, at least you can load the ones that are included up to see how I did things.

What you will find in this package.

· the DATA folder. It goes inside your Max Payne game folder. Once placed there you will be able to use all the enclosed entities, etc in any level that you make.
· BLADE-PREFABS. Inside this folder are a few prefabs that were made for Evolution.
· INCOMPLETE-MODELS. Inside this folder are 2 models that I started on, but never quite finished.
· LVL-FILES. A few of the raw levels themselves.
