Blood Zero is a beat em' up RPG that attempts to capture enjoyable elements of classic games like Zelda, Diablo and Final Fanatasy.
Blood Zero is a RPG that has many things in common with old RPGs and also beat 'em ups. You control four characters with different abilities, and also different starting stats. You advance through the game cutting down large numbers of opponents, and collect/buy better weapons.
In terms of graphics Blood Zero is not 3D. However it has very nice colored lighting, weather effects, and other types of eye candy.
If you are person that thinks every game should have 3D graphics you might not like this game. The game runs well on most machines, and enough RAM as well.
Blood Zero has many unique features. Your characters go beserk when they cut down a large number of oppenents quickly. You also get bonuses like Corpse Explosion which causes killed opponents causing massive chain reactions, and Lighting mode which gives you characters the ability to shoot large lighting bolts out of their weapons. The general mood of the game is not to makes things serious, or to have a movie quality story. The main goal of the game is to have fun, and to not let realism get in the way.
