To install: unzip MerikMod.dsres into your dungeonsiege resources folder. default location is C:\program files\microsoft games\dungeonsiege
To delete: simply delete MerikMod.dsres from your dungeonsiege resources folder.

In this mod I add meriks items. In the SP quest, you get meriks staff. I make it so you can buy Meriks staff (no alterations to it) and other Merik gear that I made.
The items are:

Meriks Grand Boots

Meriks Grand Cap

Meriks Grand Robe

Meriks Grand Shield

And Some spells.. buy'em to see what they are :)

As you have noticed (probably), there are 2 .dsres files, Buy_Meriks_Items, and Meriks Items. There are 2 to avoid conflicts of other mods that alter hiroth smith. To buy the items, install Buy_meriks_items, buy the items at hiroth smith, then delete buy_meriks_items, and install Meriks Items. meriks items doesnt have the npc folder in it, so it doesnt alter the shop, thus avoiding conflicts.

Compatiblity Problems With:

Mods that alter Hiroth smith. If you have a mod that does this, and dont want to replace it, Just remove it from resources folder (onto desktop, say) and add buy_meriks_items. Then buy
the Merik items. (this is all explained above).
