TeamBalancer allows players to force teams to be balanced by the server. This helps avoid players changing teams to be on the winning team, or stacking one team against the other.


TeamBalancer allows players to force teams to be balanced by the server. This helps avoid players changing teams to be on the winning team, or stacking one team against the other. Players call for teams to be balanced by issuing a 'mutate' command, via the in-game console.
TeamBalancer then checks the sizes of the teams. If the number of players on each team is different by more than 1 (5 on Red, 7 on Blue, for example), TeamBalancer will take the last player to join the larger team and switch them to the smaller team.

Admins may customize the command that is used to balance the teams, as well as the message that is advertised to players.

The default message is:
SYSTEM: Type 'mutate teams' into your console to balance the teams.
