Homeplanet is a space fight simulator, where the plot is based on a Neuro gameworld. As part of the Troiden Clan, it's your job to help find your people a new home.
NOTE: This demo is in the Russian Language but has English Text in-game.
Troiden Clan is a Klouto outcast. Its members have to leave the planet and plunge into the search for a new home. The whole game action is taking place in space and the game is finished after Troiden clan finds its new home. The main character is a Troiden clan pilot. The main objective is to save the clan.
Genre
Homeplanet is a classic space fight simulator, based on a real Newton physic model. Some similar games: X-Wing series, Wing Commander, Freespace. The gameplay will take approximately 30-40 hours, while the possibility to take alternative missions may extend the time.
Characteristics:
- 13 missions united by a non-linear plot.
- More than 60 different ships, 6 of which can be piloted by the player.
- Newton flight model. Two modes of spacecraft flight – acceleration and cruise.
- There is a third power in the game, The Confederation, that acts depending of the player’s behavior, it can take the clan’s side or begin fighting against it, or it may remain neutral
- The game action takes part both in space and in planet orbit.
- Great space battles. Scores of ships can take part in the battles.
- The player can choose weapons for his spaceship.
- As time goes by, the player receives ability to control a squad of wingmen. This is an advanced mode and it gives the possibility of a RTS: the wingmen control is carried out on the map, as in strategies.
- The supplied mission editor allows to create personal assignments and to add new types of ships and weapons.
