Description: The Rocket Launcher has five new modes: Multi-Rockets Mode,
Homing Rockets Mode, Homing Multi-Rockets Mode, Drunken Homing Rockets Mode,
and Drunken Homing Multi-Rockets Mode. To switch modes just hit the 7 key
repeatedly until the preferred mode is selected. The patch can also be run from a
Quake World Server. Ok, the first patch was no good. When I tried it in multiplayer
mode nothing worked like I said it would. So, I fixed it in this patch. Now the rockets
will only home in on people not in your team if teamplay is enabled and in deathmatch
the rockets home in on everyone, but yourself. I also made it so when a level change
occurs it saves the last mode that was selected since the level change happened and
got rid of the auto crosshair ON/OFF selection when shifting between homing and non-
homing modes. Plus, I speed the rockets up some and this patch isn't intrusive by
posting addy's when starting Quake or a game.
Installation:
------------
Either rename the Pak0.pak to Pak2.pak and place it in the ID1 directory or make
a new directory under the quake directory called modes and copy Pak0.pak to it.
To run the patch for Quake from the new directory the command line needs to look like this
(.\quake.exe -game modes) or to run a Quake World Server (.\qwsv.exe +gamedir modes).
