A fairly light romp through some forest and cavern areas. Designed as a one person adventure for levels 1 through 3.
'Trouble in the Woods' Version 1.3

This is my first module that I've done with the Toolset.
It's primarily designed as a one person adventure levels 1 - 3. You don't really need a DM, as everything is either scripted or set up as encounters. But I won't stop you from running it in DMclient mode either!
This adventure is inteded to be a fairly light romp through some forest and cavern areas. It's pretty basic, but hopefully still enjoyable. A 1st level character should be able to finish it in about 20 minutes with minimal deaths, if they are careful. If they run forward into everything expect quite a few more deaths.
Originally I planned for Heather (One of the NPC's) to have smuggled out a map of some caverns beneath the ruins that can be explored once she is safely back at the house. I may or may not add this to the adventure depending on the feedback I get.
Only thing I can think of to add is a better respawn system. Right now you just pop up where you die. I left it this way to make it play a bit faster. Remember this adventure is supposed to be just a quick romp.
I've also scripted for different outcomes. For instance if Heather makes it back to the house alive or dead.
Well I don't think there is to much else to say. Hope you have fun!
If you find anything that isn't working properly, or have some suggestions, please email me at nwn_dm@hotmail.com.
Changes/Fixes In Version 1.3
- Modified Mom's chair so that when PC's click on it, it explains why they won't sit on it.
- Modified some of the chests and drawers in the game so they don't randomly generate treasure.
- My Goblin Runners now look like Goblins.
- Tweaked the Goblin Gong Runner AI. He should make it to the other gong a little more often now.
- Darkened up the cave a bit to add to the atmosphere.
- Also modified the floorplan of the cave and added a chest for the main gobby.
- Added a grave marker to the homestead.
- Modified the voice of Heather from that of a Flesh Golem to a small child. Don't know how it got set to that in the first place. :-)
- Made the webed up guy in the woods clickable and he should have inventory now as well.
- Locked Mom's room. She has the key. Only way of getting it is to pickpocket or kill her.
Changes/Fixes in Version 1.2
- Removed the Orcs completely and now only have goblins. I was getting several messages saying that it was still to difficult for the 1st level character. Should be eaiser now. Although casters will still have a hard time as they can go down in one hit. There's only so much you can do when you only have 4 hit points. :)
- Fixed the quest where Mom gives you your dads weapons multiple times. Quest works correctly now.
- When Scraps dies, he now audibly barks.
- Minor Conversation changes.
Changes/Fixes in Version 1.1
- Fixed the Scraps quest bug. You should only be able to give him Mr Squeaky once. I swear that this quest was working perfectly before, but I had to change the code and use some different functions to make it work again. Maybe that 1.20 patch broke it. Yah, thats it...
- Made it a bit easier for a 1st level character to solve.
- Minor treasure placement.
